Census Data -
CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs) Codes - A nationally used taxonomic scheme of numerical classification and standard terminology For tracking and reporting postsecondary fields of study and program completions activity. The CIP codes are used by universities nationally to report various instructional program data to the U.S. Department of Education and other government and higher education organizations.
Cohort - Traditional new first-time, first-year students, enrolled in the fall term as collected in the College's institutional data sets. The cohort's enrollment and registration are tracked over time for the purposes of calculating retention and graduation rates.
Common Data Sets - a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Thomson Peterson's, and U.S. News & World Report. The combined goal of the collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers.
Completion Rates -
Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) - Describes the competencies particular to content, behavior, attitudes, or skills required for students to demonstrate in completion of any course.

Course Schedule: This is a list of courses offered every semester by each academic department (inclusion of course lab and lecture credits, pre-requisites, course title, course alpha, section number, time, date, instructor, room number, enrollment number).

Continuing Student - A student who is seeking a degree or certificate and has been enrolled in classes during the previous semester.
